Having graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, with a Marketing and Business Communications Degree, Alana started out her career with Carlson Companies in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Her career path led her to planning corporate incentive trips and, eventually, to Vail, Colorado. There, she worked more directly with local vendors to plan corporate events and was then asked to move to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to open a new office there. Being a solo employee in Jackson at the beginning, she had a lot of learning to do with regards to networking computers, implementing creative content and, of course, using her marketing background to generate business.

When the economy crashed in 2008, so did the position with the company that brought her to Jackson. After getting back on her feet she landed an incredible job as a Business Manager for a very high end Ranch in Star Valley, Wyoming. This position created more opportunities to learn even more skills - one of them being website development.

Not only were there several sites created for this Ranch, but she also started to create one for the local non-profit she was involved with. The non profit site got bigger and bigger, with more links, payment buttons, registrations for events and more. Alana is a self taught small business website designer that specializes in Squarespace and she would love to help you design a website that you can be proud of and that works best for your field of work.
